WELCOME

The LHS library media center is open to our students and community Monday-Friday from 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM.

Our library offers a diverse collection of books, digital resources, and research tools to support the academic needs of students and staff. We provide access to Atrium, our user-friendly online catalog system, allowing patrons to browse and reserve materials with ease. Additionally, we offer the Alabama Virtual Library (AVL), which provides free access to an extensive range of databases and e-resources, enabling research across various subjects and disciplines. Our services also include study spaces, technology access, and assistance with digital literacy tools.

I am always more than willing to assist you with any library questions and/or needs that you may have.

Parents, please encourage your child to read; because the more they read the more they will know and the more they know the better they will succeed in school.  You are also invited to come and browse our book collection.  You may find something that you want to read.

Click below to visit Atrium, our catalog system, acess books from the Sora app, and view our Library Media Handbook.
